GENERAL INFORMATION:
As one of Virginia’s oldest wineries, we’ve been welcoming visitors for over 45 years. In fact, we were named one of the “Top 3 Virginia Wine Day Trip Destinations“ by Yahoo! Voices in 2012! We were also recommended as one of the best Virginia wineries for picnics by the editors of Touring & Tasting Magazine. (Read more reviews on our Press Mentions page.)
RESERVATIONS:
We are happy to accommodate groups by appointment. If your group includes 6 or more people, please call us for advance reservations at 804.224.8687.
HOURS:
We are open year-round! Please check our current hours of operation before visiting. Last call for open bottle sales will be one half hour prior to closing. We are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
TASTINGS:
We currently offer self-guided tasting flights which include a tasting of 5 wines for $12/person (or $15 with souvenir glass). Choose from red, white or mixed. Wine selections rotate throughout the year. We produce over 16 different wines so you are sure to find something to please almost any palette!
Looking for an enhanced tasting experience? We also offer our VIP Tour & Tasting, which includes a private guided tour and seated tasting conducted by one of our wine educators. A platter of artisan cheeses is included with your tasting. Pricing: $180 (includes up to 6 people – $30 for each additional person). At least two weeks advance notice is required for booking. FOOD OPTIONS:
We offer a selection of cheese, meats and crackers for sale in the gift shop. Visitors are also welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy – however, no outside alcohol may be brought in due to ABC regulations. We host food trucks frequently during weekend events (check our Events at the Winery page for the schedule). In Summer 2026, lunch will be available on select Saturdays as part of our “Gourmet Saturdays” program (check our Events page to learn more). Our closest food truck is Hancho’s Hibachi Box, located in Oak Grove adjacent to the Shell Station (about 2 1/4 miles from the winery).
PET POLICY:
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in our courtyard and outdoor areas.
SMOKING POLICY:
Our outdoor Courtyard is smoke-free. A convenient smoking area is located next to the Pavilion (please follow the signs in the courtyard or ask a member of our staff).
SEATING OPTIONS:
Our outdoor European-style courtyard offers plenty of space to enjoy a glass of wine with a picnic lunch! Our newest outdoor space, “The Bullpen,” offers additional outdoor seating. In case of cold or rainy weather, we have seating available under covered outdoor areas, in our Barrel Room or in our indoor Pavilion.

WINE CLUB:
Estate Club members receive a complimentary glass of wine for two or 10% off tasting flights when visiting the winery (does not include ticketed events). To learn more about club benefits, visit our Wine Club page.
PRIVATE GROUP EVENTS:
Looking to arrange a private tasting or event for a group? Throughout the year, we entertain groups such as alumni chapters, corporate teams, yacht & car clubs, etc. We offer several packages which feature private tours & tastings for groups of 8 or more.
