Fall Oyster Crawl on the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail

Join the participating wineries of the Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail for a weekend of wine & oyster pairings. Each winery will offer a special oyster dish to pair with its wines.
Ingleside will be featuring several styles of oysters, including raw, fried and grilled. Oysters will be prepared onsite by the R&B Oyster Bar from Denson’s from 12-4pm both days. Denson’s was voted Best Restaurant in Eastern Virginia by the readers of Virginia Living Magazine in 2016. Other menu items will include Denson’s award-winning Crab Cakes, as well as Cheese Platters and Chocolate Eclairs.
Live music will be featured in the courtyard all weekend. (Saturday 1-4pm: Karen Jonas. Sunday 1-4pm: The Lewis Sluder Smith Acoustic Trio.)
Normal wine tasting fees will apply; oysters will be available for purchase. Wine tastings are $8, including a souvenir glass.
Please note: Due to ABC licensing, Ingleside wine is the only alcohol beverage permitted on the premises. No outside alcohol may be brought to the event. Our courtyard is now a smoke-free area. A convenient smoking section is available near the Pavilion (look for signs or ask a member of our staff for directions).
