Celebrate July 4th at our Summer Music Series!
After a year off due to the pandemic, our Summer Music Series is back! Join us on July 4th for live music by Karen Jonas and food by Pimenta.
Steeped in alluring nostalgia, Country and Americana singer and songwriter Karen Jonas hearkens back to a time when the very best stories were told by Country musicians. On stage, Karen and her longtime guitarist, the inimitable Tim Bray, dazzle with energy that showcases their seven-year touring chemistry and the true enthusiasm and joy of their art. Karen is a two-time Wammie (Washington Area Music Award) Award winner for Best Country and Americana Artist, Mid Atlantic Song Contest winner, Ameripolitan Award (Best Honky Tonk) nominee, and official SXSW and UK Americanafest Showcasing Artist. Playing upwards of 150 shows annually since her debut in 2014, Karen and her band are poised for success with their upcoming releases.
Food will be available for sale at the event from Pimenta. Pimenta Restaurant is based in Fredericksburg, VA and serves authentic Jamaican cuisine. The menu will be as follows:
• Ragamuffin Wings
• Rasta Pasta with Shrimp
• Mac and Cheese
• Curry chick peas with cabbage
• Jerk pulled chicken sandwich
• Beef, Chicken and Veggie Patties
• Coco Bread
• Rum Cake
• Rum and Raisin, Coconut and Guava ice cream
• D & G Sodas including Ting
• Sparkling Water and Spring Water
Food will be available for sale from 12-4pm and live music from 1-4pm. Tickets are not required for this event. Wines will be available for sale by the glass or bottle, and food will be available for purchase. Self-guided wine tasting flights will be available for $12/person (includes souvenir glass).
Estate Club members will receive a complimentary glass of wine for two or 10% off tasting flights at all of our music series events.
Our courtyard is a smoke-free area. A convenient smoking section is available near the Pavilion (look for signs or ask a member of our staff for directions).
Please note: Due to ABC licensing, Ingleside wine is the only alcohol beverage permitted on the premises. Absolutely no beer, liquor or other wine is allowed under any circumstance.
