This Methode Champenoise sparkling wine makes any meal or event more special. The Virginia Brut has a delicate texture and crisp mouth feel, along with complex aromas. It also serves well as an aperitif or with dessert.
Ingleside is proud to have been the first winery in Virginia to produce a sparkling wine using the Methode Champenoise, beginning with our 1980 vintage. This is the traditional method which has been used in the Champagne region of France for centuries. Each bottle undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, producing lovely pinpoint bubbles.
Serve well chilled in champagne flutes.
